WHAT’S THE STORY?
With a flourishing aviation market and an ever-increasing demand for pilots and cabin crew, there is no wonder that many youngsters from India aspire to join the Airlines Industry. However, most of the Aviation training institutes are located in 2-3 large metro cities. With most pilot aspirants and cabin crew applicants belonging to the Northern states of India, there has always been a void felt in the region as the candidates are forced to leave their homes and stay in awkward and uncomfortable paying guest accommodations in unfamiliar cities. The idea behind locating SkyWize Aviation in the Tri-City area is to have first-class training facilities for pilots and cabin crew right here and make aviation training easily accessible and available to all aspirants from the Northern states.

Team SkyWize
The pilot training program at SkyWize Aviation is being run by the highly qualified duo of Amit and Gurpreet who were trained as instructors by the Indian Air Force in their respective fields and possess vast teaching and instructional experience.
Capt Amit Kumar Menon
Amit has 19 years of flying experience and is a Qualified Flying Instructor, having trained at the prestigious Flying Instructors’ School of Indian Air Force at Tambaram. He has been teaching flying and Aviation ground subjects since the last 15 years and was also awarded the highest instructional category of Senior Aviation Instructor Grade-1 (A2 QFI) during his illustrious flying career. In his last tenure with the Army, he was the Chief Examiner & Operational Safety Auditor of Army Aviation Corps.
Capt Gurpreet Singh Dhillon
Gurpreet is a highly experienced pilot with 19 years of experience in military and commercial flying, having donned several hats in his flying career and flown nine different variants of aircrafts. Apart from flying he is also qualified in Air Traffic Control and Flight Safety and Accident Investigation. He is trained in instructional technique from the Ground Instructors’ School of Indian Air Force and has been an Instructor at Institute of Aerospace Safety at New Delhi.
Both are passionate instructors in their respective fields and hold the teaching profession very close to their hearts. They have given up a flourishing career in civil flying and cabin crew training to establish SkyWize Aviation as a hub for aviation ground training in the Northern region of India.
