Eligibility Criteria for applying for ATPL

  • The candidate must be 21 years of age when submitting the final application for ATPL.
  • The candidate must be a holder of a valid CPL and valid FRTOL.
  • The candidate must pass the following written and oral exams conducted by DGCA:-
    • Air Navigation
    • Avionics (Radio Aids and Instruments)
    • Meteorology
    • Aircraft and Engines
    • Signals (Practical)
  • The candidate should have passed the English Language Proficiency (ELP) Test conducted by centres / examiners designated by DGCA.
  • The candidate should have a valid Class-I medical fitness certificate issued by DGCA.
  • The candidate should have completed 1500 hours of flying and have a current IR rating on multi engine aircraft.
